There are so many different types of ribbon avaliable in so many different colours and widths that you will be spoilt for choice. No matter what the occasion the card is for, you will find the perfect ribbon for it.

You can get Grosgrain ribbon, Satin, Silk, Sheer, Velvet, Plain, Patterned, Wired and Peel 'n' Stick to name just a few.

Ribbon is readily available at Craft stores but if you look at local markets you will probably find it cheaper.

If you use Copic Marker Pens then just buy some white ribbon and colour what you need to perfectly compliment the colour of your card.

You can use the ribbon just to put a bow on your card or you can be extravagent and wrap it around the card. The choice is yours - just decide what you feel best suits your card.

Using Ribbon in a Different Way.

On this card the ribbons have been used to form the "strings" on the Christening Balloon - this is quite an unusual use of ribbon but it works very effectively here.

The card was for a Christening of a young boy.

Card Toppers - A Quick Way To Make A Card!

Card Toppers are a quick and easy way to "top off" your card. There are a wide range of Card Toppers available - all in different sizes, colous and themes.

They are really easy to use - the ones as shown in the picture above come complete with their own sticky mounting pad. You simply peel the topper from its backing paper and stick it to where you want it to go on your card - nothing could be simpler!

If you have to mass produce cards, for example for charity or your own Christmas Cards, card toppers used in conjunction with a nice background paper can be the answer.
